Every year it is the same: the first rays of the sun come out, and sneezing, eye jacuzzis and heavy breathing begin. The pollutant starts and every allergic person certainly knows the symptoms too well. And there is not only something from Ratiopharm, but also from various app developers who are supposed to help the allergy sufferer. However, one thing is certain: the pollen flights do not help to alleviate the symptoms, but they are still useful for predicting the pollen flow and other functions, such as a remediation service for the therapy type or a polling book. So here is a list of apps for iPhone and Android , which I can recommend.
1. Pollen App: The App For Allergy Sufferers
This app I find very helpful. It is provided by the Stiftung Deutscher Polleninformationsdienst. It offers a prediction of the pollen flight for Germany, Austria and France and is available free of charge for Android and iOS.
Thanks to the location determination, you can always see the pollen load of its respective postcode.Furthermore, the app offers an allergy self-test (allergy-screening questionnaire). With this test you can check for yourself whether there is an allergic condition. The course to the doctor saves the app, of course, not. And you can get more information from Fredericashops.com.
Furthermore the app offers a personal pollentage book. With the help of this, a profile with the individual load can be created and compared with the measurable pollen load. As a diagram illustrating, you can forward this comparison in PDF format directly to the treating physician. With the reminder service one does not miss a therapy type or an appointment with the treating physician.
A-as I think-very good app, which I would recommend as a reference. It is independent of the pharmaceutical industry and is therefore my first choice.
2. Pollen Forecast App
Slightly slimmed down and from Hexal there is the pollen flight prediction app for Android and iOS.
The app offers a pollen forecast for 14 allergy-inducing plants and 7 days in advance. The app itself promises daily and local accurate predictions. For an overview of the year, it also offers a pollen calendar of the 14 plants. As in the pollen app you can look at the current pollen flight and the development over the Germany trend via the location identification or search by location or postal code. Unfortunately, the app does not offer any pollen prediction for the foreign country.
Who knows what he is allergic to can select his own plants and places in the settings.
According to Hexal, the data is updated three times a day. Furthermore, Hexal also offers an allergy self-test and emergency telephone numbers.
Anyone who can live with obtrusive pharmaceutical advertising, should also download this app on his smartphone.
3. Ratiopharm App: Pollen Radar
There is also an app from ratiopharm that provides up-to-the-minute information on the pollen in the respective postcode region. For 14 highly allergenic pollen, the app uses the information from WetterOnline. This app is also free of charge for iOS and Android.
The app also offers general allergy information (what is allergy at all?) And holiday recommendations for destinations and activities without high pollen pollution. There are telephone numbers of allergy sufferers in the app. For further questions you can get addresses from allergy associations.Unfortunately, there is no diary.
Since the app as well as at Hexal is provided by a pharmaceutical company, of course also here own advertising of its own means against hay fever and pollen allergy in the menu point medicines to be found. There you will also find information about the respective medicines. The app also offers an allergy self-test.
4. Technician Health Insurance: Husteblume
Also the Techniker Krankenkasse offers an app for iOS and Android. It provides a diary in which symptoms of the nose, eye and lungs as well as the overall condition can be recorded. With the app you can also document the medication intake. For the pollen prediction, the app provides a general and personal pollen load prediction with location localization-automatically or manually-using zip code, location or region.
The app continues to evaluate your overall condition as a result of a self-test. In addition, the pollen load and the medication influence are displayed in the form of a weekly or monthly graph. In the app, you will receive individual treatment instructions on the recommended therapy forms depending on the severity of the disease.
In the lexicon of the app you learn a lot about the individual plant species. The texts can even be read to you.
5. Polleninfo From Vividrin
The last and fifth app is still the app Polleninfo from Vividrin recommendable. The app is available for Android and iOS.
The app provides comprehensive pollen flight information. Including a 3-day forecast and the 7-day trend. On the map of Germany you can see, where at the moment which and in what strength pollen fly. Furthermore, the app offers a pollen warning function. If you want to travel, you will find in the app a travel calendar with pollen data for the most important European holiday countries.
In the guide you will find valuable information about allergies, a self-test, helpful tips for a better quality of life in everyday life and a pollenlexikon with plant pictures and background information. If you need help at its location, the app offers emergency numbers, a pharmacy and physician search (allergist).
I hope I could give you a small selection with these five apps. There are apps from all directions-from independent companies, from pharmaceutical companies and health insurance companies. Each app has different functions. What you need and which app is best for you, you have to find for yourself.
These apps are definitely useful and help you at least through this difficult season. If you have problems for years, you should think about a therapy or hyposensitization. Then maybe you do not need these apps any more and can enjoy the summer, the sun and the woods and meadows.
